One would think that Visa and MasterCard would be want to help safeguard their customer's from potential fraud, well apparently they are just making things worse. Both credit card companies offer programs that are supposed to protect their cardholders from fraudsters, but guess what- their verification tools look just like phishing traps! Oh, and gets better...

The Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce contacted ASACP leaders and notified them the impostors are contacting posters on message boards, claiming the content they are posting is illegal and threatening legal action. ASACP does not contact suspects themselves they report them to the right law enforcement agencies.

Pink Visual has recently fallen victim to a new scam and is out out 25k worth of merchandise. Two bogus distributors placed orders with the company and were expected to pay by COD. Now this is the part that kills me, counterfeit checks were used. I didnâ€™t realize anyone still used those!
