Google's highly touted yet mildly popular browser has been given a makeover. Now, it has new features that supposedly makes surfing a little more pleasurable, which for me just means less time to wait for Javascript functions to kick in. I just hope the good and fun parts of the previous Chromes are intact here (Incognito, hello?).

The new FireFox 3.1 Beta 1 browser has been launched, and though not fully functional yet, this article gives you an overview of the enhanced features users can expect from the latest release. Among other enhancements, FF3.1 incorporates faster javascripting and geolocation features, though it still does not appear to offer private browsing or an improved session restore feature.
