Kelly Shibari Joins SiN2.0 Podcast as Co-Host
[San Jose, Calif.] Always looking for ways to add in a dash of sex and entertainment to its weekly webmaster podcast, SiN2.0 welcomes the multi-talented Kelly Shibari as the show's new co-host. Shibari, experienced both in front of and behind the camera, will join original sinner Jason “J-SiN” Hart every week to discuss and debate issues related to the adult industry.
Playboy About To Be Sold
After news of plummeting stock, everyone in the industry is abuzz over its rumored sale to Iconix. Though Playboy is arguably one of the benchmarks of the porn industry, it has slowly lost its luster after decades of prominence. It may have been poor management as other speculate or the changing attitude towards the brand.
Bigots Are Also Idiots.
Here's another douchebag you would love to hate. On the recent Value Voters Summit last weekend, a chief of staff of an Oklahoma Senator spoke his mind. Only to show us that nothing's there!
In what I think is a Kanye moment, he says all forms of "pornography is gay pornography because it turns your sexual drive inwards." The man shot himself in the foot and may not even know it!
RIP Peach Entertainment
As the industry is weakened significantly by piracy and recession, it took its toll on one former blue chip company. In a time when DVD sales has been the bread and butter of adult entertainment companies, Peach Entertainment was king. It was a high profile, highly solvent and highly regarded company. Pirates Sue Hackers For $6M
In what may be a hilariously karmic turn of events, one of the more popular tube sites Redtube.com has cried foul over twenty identified "John Doe's" who hacked their way into the site's admin and redirected links into their own site. The Hong Kong-based company is seeking damages worth $6 million.
FCC Aims For Net Neutrality
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. And I think the FCC has just laid the bricks to where it begins. The FCC recently initiated something that they call "net neutrality". This is some pseudo-techie mumbo jumbo that supposedly protects the interests of both consumer and provider.
Internet Pornus Interruptus
Brianna Banks may need to pack up her dildo and look elsewhere for her second coming. Starlet Entertainment and its affiliate arm, StarletBucks, recently went out of business barely two weeks from debuting online. Financiers reportedly changed their minds in bankrolling the amateur porn site that was supposed to feature Banks and fellow porn actress Alexis Texass.
More People Look To Adult Entertainment For Work
The porn and adult entertainment industry is suddenly becoming the haven for unemployed Americans looking for a way to earn much needed cash. Despite a growing number of establishments catering to adult entertainment closing down, a lot more people are still looking for these kinds of jobs. Be it in form of stripping, dancing, escort services, sex chat, and phone sex.
