FireFox 3.1: The Silent Killer of Affiliate Commisions

6
points

Well folks it’s finally here… Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 has been released and is available for download. Now some people may be excited about the newest release, but what many people may not know is the Private Browsing Mode is turned on by default. This means that after a user is done with a session all cookies are deleted. Now this doesn’t affect the user or even affiliate programs, but for those of you out there directing traffic to affiliate sites for commissions, you could in for a world of hurt.
