The federal government has released access to a new spectrum of broadband service, and is licensing only those providers who promise to develop such services without porn or other obscene material on them. I am somewhat surprised that the adult community is not up in arms at the prospect of the government possibly pushing out other ISPs with a free service that is by definition, anti-pornography.

This is a good point, however with how other free wireless services have so far gone no where, perhaps the threat is not that real.

So wearing a bikini is not porn, nudity is porn, what about pasties? (and who decides this).

...and who decides what is porn.

Why should the religious right get their own channel?

Which brings back the question: what is porn?

Then they should also restrict religious content on these services.

This service could easily end up beating out the paid ISPs; if these then went out of business, there would be no internet available for the adult industry.

So, then, who gets to choose what qualifies as obscene?
