Robul Hoque has become the first person in the UK to be sentenced for viewing obscene images that were created by virtual reality rendering software. Although the pictures were animated, cartoons, and virtually generated, much of the content was in relation to a child abuse fantasy that was very realistic and therefore deemed obscene; thus Hoque was sentenced to 18 months community service.

I thought those laws were for protecting kids, not cartoons... who cares as long as real kids aren't getting hurt!
