Recent changes to several of Britain’s laws present themselves as threats to members of the BDSM community, mainly the Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons Act and the Criminal Justice Act (s. 63-66). In reproach of these laws, members of the UK's BDSM community marched in gagged protest against the government and urged citizens to consider their own personal rights in terms of the threatening legislation.
