A man in the UK recently created a blog post entitled "Girls (Scream) Aloud" in which he made graphic reference to a fantasy involving the kidnapping, rape, and mutilation of girls from the band "Girls Aloud". Despite being only a written account of a sex fantasy, the publicly made postings have been deemed 'obscene' by Scotland Yard’s Obscene Publications Unit and the man will now serve as a test case for whether obscenity can be applied to creative written content.
