While shelling out $500,000 on custom license plates that read "Pen 15" or "Org 45M" may not sound at all reasonable, when you see the words spelled out by these arrangements when presented in the format of the UK's license plates, you can understand why someone might value the attention these explicit plates garner. Well, if you're spending $250,000 on a license plate, I hope it's on a car that is attention grabbing in its own right.
These would probably be out of place on my old '89 Volvo.
