Daniel Dove, a 26 year old with a super-high-speed server, has been fined $20,000 and given three years of supervised release for the role he played as an administrator for EliteTorrents.org. The ruling handed down by U.S. District Court Judge James P. Jones cites the fact that Dove knowingly uploaded copyrighted files to his torrent network, and is part of a larger task force called D-Elite which is cracking down on torrent sites across the country.
