A year ago, Ashley Timms was an aspiring professional soccer goalie whose association with star teammates gave him access to their bedrooms and private lives. He apparently took advantage of this privilege and used his cell phone to record videos of his teammates having sex, and when his athletic career waned, tried to capitalize on his library of explicit content by blackmailing his former friends. He has now received a sentence of 22 month in jail for his transgressions, and perhaps wishes he'd just sold the content to an internet publisher and cashed out early.
