Comcast Counter-Sues FCC Over Peer-to-peer Traffic Limitations
Sat, 09/06/2008 - 09:33 — beachboy97a7In response to last month's FCC ruling that barred Comcast from limiting peer-to-peer file sharing in an effort to reduce network congestion, Comcast has filed an appeal that claims the actions taken by the FCC were "inappropriate and its findings were not justified by the record." Comcast will follow the FCC guidelines throughout the proceedings, and plans to draw up alternative network management strategies in the meantime.
