Hoping to gain further insight as to what it is about common brassieres that causes damage to women's breasts, research by Portsmouth University sports scientist Dr Joanna Scurr studies the effects of walking on the 'bounce' of breasts with a new approach. Dr. Scurr has rigged a treadmill with monitors connected to a bra that measures the 'breast biomechanics' of women in order to collect data that will further enhance the understanding of how bras work to comfortably cradle breasts.
