Recognizing that traditional bullet-proof vests caused extreme discumfort among femal police officers, the 'Action Brassiere' was developed by a German policewoman to create a more comfortable means of providing on the job protection. The bullet-proof bras have now been distributed to 3,000 German police women who will be required to wear the new brassiers while in the line of duty.
