In reviewing a new book on transsexual experiences by M. Christian titled "Transgender Erotica: Trans Figures", this columnist reflects on his own transgender experience and wonders if there is anything wrong with fetishizing transsexuals. What he takes issue with in this book, is that it seems to approach transsexuals as a spectacle, rather than as humans that each have their own unique comprehension of sexuality, relationships, and gender that should be heard and respected.
