A strip club owner in New York apparently followed the law in terms of placing signage and enforcing a 'no sex' rule in his strip club, but also provided private booths that made such acts inevitable, and regularly 'fined' girls he caught having sex with customers. In a lawsuit against the club, former employees claimed that he was simply paying lip service to the law, and his actions amounted to pimping, as he profited from the sex acts performed in his club.
