What Circumcision Really Means for Safe Sex
Sat, 07/19/2008 - 13:41 — slippynippleWhile circumcision does effectively reduce the likelihood of contracting certain STDs, including HIV/AIDS, there is a lot of misunderstanding amongst the medical community as to how a circumcision based approach to fighting AIDS can be effective. The main problem, is that it is not an end-all safety solution, as it leaves women at equally high risk, and gives many uneducated participants in these programs a false sense of protection.
