Though it does happen from time to time, a la "Pretty Woman" it is incredibly rare for prostitutes and their clients to fall in love. The writer of this column even hesitates to print a letter containing such a case because she doesn't want to give other johns the false impression that they actually have a chance at a long term relationship with their escorts.
