4
points

In a move that could hold portents of change that could dramatically affect the way porn in also shared between peer-to-peer networks, Virgin has announced a three-strikes approach to clamping down on Internet users that illegally share copyrighted music files through the Virgin network. Under this arrangement, violators will first receive a stern warning via email, followed by a second letter if violations continue, and finally total loss of service. If it can happen to music, it can happen to porn.
