Hard Advice for the Old Timers
Fri, 05/09/2008 - 18:45 — BigBorkerWhile the difference between a 52 year old man and 36 year old co-worker is only 18 years, this guy is worried that others in his work environment will scorn him for 'robbing the cradle' if he asks this girl out. Humorously, the columnist retorts with the comment that if he hasn't gotten a date within 6 weeks of meeting the girl then she's probably not interested in him, and his fantasies of marriage are not only inappropriate, but probably totally misguided as well.

This is the rebound n rebounds mean.. passing the old baggage to the next relationship and probably making the same mistake if not worse. I say "Hell no" to asking her out or trying to marry her.
36? That's nothing, especially when you consider the inherent biological desire to reproduce: obviously there's not a lot of time for a 52 year old to court someone close to his own age if he wants to have children with them, so mid-30's should be fair game.
That's nothing, in most countries of the world that wouldn't even qualify as an age difference.
