At some point in every relationship, someone's got to present the uncomfortable and meaningless question of how many people their partner has slept with. Despite the urge to be honest with your lover, it seems that on both sides of the coin, both men and women lie about the actual number to make their partner feel more comfortable about their sexual history- which means you should too.

You're pretty much screwed either way- best not to lie about it: she'll get over how many people you've been with, but not if she figures out your numbers don't add up.
