Wal-Mart, Toshiba, Turn on HD DVD

In a move that might signal the downfall of HD DVD's fight against Sony's proprietary Blu-Ray high definition disk format, Wal-Mart has announced that it will drop HD DVDs from its shelves, and Toshiba is making noises like it too may drop HD DVD. The porn industry moved heavily in support of HD DVD, due to its reduced production costs, but may need to revise its position as Blu-Ray emerges as a more popular format.
