Websites No Longer Free to Abuse Customer

I thought this was an interesting article for those of you out there running a site. A U.S. District Court has ruled that Terms of Service can’t be amended on the fly and without notice to users. Blockbuster wanted the suit dismissed because the woman agreed to the sites TOS when she signed up, but the judge took issue with the modification-of-terms clause. In fact the judge felt Blockbuster’s TOS left them free to abuse customers’ trust at will.
