In what may be a form of upsmanship against Google (and to a certain extent to iPhone), Microsoft is bringing adult content to the iPhone through their free Bing apps. Bing.com is known to be an extremely porn-friendly (and somewhat anti-establishment) search engine that has been the pride and joy of Microsoft since they retooled it two years ago. The Bing iPhone app can now enable iPhone users to surf porn in the internet. It has also proven to be an efficient way to find certain kinds of porn niches.
Many attempts had been made to burst the iPhone bubble when it came to its stringent rules against showing hardcore porn in the mobile phone. There was even an alleged loophole where webmasters can simulate their adult websites to appear in the app store. But with the advent of the Bing apps, the adult industry might have another opportunity to finally hawk uncensored porn content in the iPhone.
However, the article didn't mention how Apple has responded to this and what action they will take on the matter, or whether this is a feature that they already gave their blessing to. The article doesn't shed light on what kind of business this could generate for the porn producers.

Yay for Bing! I'm sure Apple will be party poopers and find a way to squash this though.
