Playboy Enterprises Inc. has decided to start charging models a $49.95 registration fee for casting calls. This announcement didn’t come as too much of a surprise since lately there has been quite a bit with regards to Playboy’s financial struggles, layoffs and the departure of CEO Christie Hefner. Although with everyone struggling financially these days, are they really expecting to make much money from this idea? I mean who’s gonna hand over money just to have Playboy reject them or is this really some clever scheme to weed out all the undesirables?
