After news of plummeting stock, everyone in the industry is abuzz over its rumored sale to Iconix. Though Playboy is arguably one of the benchmarks of the porn industry, it has slowly lost its luster after decades of prominence. It may have been poor management as other speculate or the changing attitude towards the brand.

With the recession still raging on, Playboy was powerless to be not affected by it. We only have to watch BloombergTV as Playboy's stock value dropped. Though in these times, Playboy Enterprises is still a business to watch.

If you think about it, their struggles also reflects ours. And for the sake of our industry, I do hope that whatever road this company decides to go, it will be for the best. It has to, right?
