Rhett Pardon writes about the preemptive measures that the Free Speech Coalition has recently presented to the industry. This was after the adult industry got into hot water with state occupational safety regulators add AIDS groups when news broke out that a working pornstar had been diagnosed with AIDS. This then led to interest groups lobbying to require porn performers to wear condoms during a shoot. But people from the industry disagreed with this ruling especially when it doesn't totally prevent AIDS and created more medical problems to female performers.

I would have appreciated the article more had he gone through the major points of their document. (Pardon, however, included the link.) The Free Speech Coalition has created this document on behalf of the industry. May this document be a better way to keep porn shoots clean and hazard-free. And may this send a message to the naysayers that we can police ourselves, and keep our backyards clean and kosher.
