WA State prosecutors are urging a new bill be passed that would make it a felony to view child pornography online. Call me crazy, but I thought CP was already illegal?! This new bill would criminalize intentional viewing of sexually explicit images of minors and close a loophole in the law that allows pedophiles to avoid prosecution by streaming CP instead of downloading it. However, the ASACP say the billing is too broad and could result in innocent people being prosecuted. Surprise, supervise… the government would create a bill that is broad and could cause more harm than good.
