The Attorney General has been sworn in and a deputy Attorney General has been nominated. What’s surprising about the choice for the # 2 position is the nominee has adult ties. Attorney David Odgen has represented some big adult name in the past and if confirmed would be involved in resolving high-profile cases, including obscenity cases. Of course the ultra conservative groups are up in arms and voicing their discontent, but regardless the man is qualified. Perhaps 2009 really will be a year of change.
