Apple Initiates New Process In Approving New Mobile Apps

5
points

It all started when Facebook got pissed off when their own apps haven't translated well into the iPhone (and most mobile phones for that matter). It had gotten so bad that they stopped forwarding apps to iPhone to approve in disgust. They hope that this gives Apple some time to clean up their act.

It appears that Facebook isn't the only one having problems. Developers in our industry who are lining up for a chance to appear in iPhone is mired in red tape as well.

According to Stephen Yagielowicz's article, a lot of apps being presented to Apple are currently in limbo. Developers don't know what in hell is keeping Apple from getting the approval process running along so they know if their apps is approved or not. As it turns out, there isn't a process at all. Good thing, they have presented a modicum of orderliness in the approval of the apps.

"New Process" Yeah, right. Since when did they have a process before? This is a joke.
